User on all of our domain workstations and then disable the old one and then I am currently planning a project to create a new Local admin Find local user on workstations Programming & Development.We removed the IP address from DHCP and statically assigned it to a laptop, the 4cbb58 device shows back up in AngryIP Scanner, and Advanced IP Scanner. When I turn the Wyse Terminal off the 4cbb58 device disappears. DHCP was dishing out the IP Address to the Wyse Terminal, and I saw the Wyse Terminal's MAC Address in the DHCP Lease. AngryIP Scanner showed the IP Address in question with a Chicony Electronics Co. Which led me to start digging through Angry IP Scanner to find out just what that MAC Address is. This IP address x.x.x.x is duplicated with station 4cbb58:xxxxxx. ![]() Yesterday going through our help tickets we came across a ticket which claimed to be getting an error on one of our Wyse terminals (going out soon): Domain Controller, DHCP Server, Switches, Routers, etc, the normal stuff. We usually use DHCP and assign IP addresses via DHCP reservations, on some rare occasions we'll statically assign something an IP. I've got a rather odd situation going on here on our network. ![]()
